Margaret (Peggy) Conn, 63, a lifelong resident of Marlboro, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at home.
Born on Jan. 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ernest B. and the late Jane A (Palmer) Greiner.
Peggy was a graduate of Hartford Airline School, and was a secretary for the Marlboro Elementary School.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia & Bruce Crane of Marlboro and Colleen & Peter Gattuso of Milton; one son, Kevin & Lori Conn of Marlboro; three brothers: Ernie & Emily Greiner, Jeff & Linda Greiner, Kenny & Camille Greiner; her companion, Jack Maurer; grandchildren: Daniel, Ethan & Aidan Jack Gattuso, Kasey, Liam & Maggie Conn, Joseph & Ella Jane Crane; and several nephew & nieces and cousins.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carl J. DiDonato, Jr, and Lawrence M. Cavazza of The DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc.
Richard M. Young
Richard M. Young, age 93, of Gardiner, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Castle Point VAMC, Fishkill.
Mr. Young was born Oct. 29, 1916 in the Bronx, the son of the late Richard W. and the late Clara (Batzdofe) Young.
He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 during World War II. He was employed by Bank of New York in New York City.
Survivors include his grandchildren: Edwin and Heather Olivera of Gardiner, Julie and Kevin Bradley of New Paltz, Rebecca and Fred Thompson of Modena, Madeline and Robert Mercier of New Paltz.
He was predeceased by a sister and brother, Dorothy and Robert Young.
Cremation took place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
